#4 Chargers beat #1 Hawks in a classic

On Friday night there was a match up in Girls Basketball between the Saginaw Valley Leagues top two teams. The Midland Dow Lady Chargers, ranked number 4 in the state, prevailed over the top team in the state, the Saginaw Heritage Hawks. This was a huge game for the Lady Chargers because they needed a win to keep up in the race for the SVL North title. After this game the Lady Chargers improved to 14-2 on the season, while the Lady Hawks fell to 15-1.
